Official Introduction to Transactional Analysis (TA 101) |
Transactional Analysis (TA) is a set of models which help us understand more about communication, human interaction and personal development. It will be of great benefit to coaches who want to understand themselves, their clients, and the coach-client interaction better. The fundamental belief is that we are all OK, can all think and that we make choices about ourselves and what to do every moment of the day. The wide range of TA theories and techniques are easy to understand and use with individuals and groups alike. This programme will introduce you to the full range of TA concepts and show you how these can be related to such topics as: attitudes and personalities, working styles, coaching styles, thinking styles, creativity and innovation, working wit others, assertiveness, influencing and persuasion, our response to change and many, many more.
The 2-day course offers 12 CCEU's for accredited coaches.

Coach Training Diploma Programme |
Coaching Development's comprehensive training develops effective, authentic professional coaches. It challenges individuals to move beyond technique and embody the attitudes and skills essential to potent, in-depth coaching. Our excellent reputation is based on strong ethical standards, face-to-face experiential training, and commitment to ongoing professional development.
How our ACTP Diploma Programme works:
The ‘Certificate in Coaching Skills’ is a 20-day face-to-face training programme:
5 x 4-day modules once a month over a 5-month period. [This programme fulfils all ICF requirements for training up to PCC level. Graduates may apply directly to the ICF for their credential via the Portfolio route.]
The ‘Diploma in Coaching’ is a post-training programme of continuing professional development:
6 months of individually designed coaching practice and feedback, supervision, mentor coaching, formal observation, assessment. [This programme completes all ICF requirements for training, mentor coaching and assessment up to PCC level. No further ICF examination is required.]
• Our approach focuses on the in-depth development of the individual as a coach, rather than only focusing on techniques, tools and processes of coaching.
• The training is intensive and face to face – 20 days’ training delivered in 5 monthly modules (each module runs Friday – Monday inclusive).
• The same group of students, trainers and mentors work together for the entire 5-month training programme. The course is taken as a complete and sequential programme – it’s not offered in separate pieces.
• The same 2 (or more) fully credentialed trainers are present throughout the programme.
• Our approach is highly experiential – learning through doing. All our programmes are very rich in coaching practice, observation and individual feedback.
