The International Coach Federation offers the only globally recognised independent credentialing (accreditation) programme, which has existed for more than a decade. There are currently 6,000 ICF credentialed coaches worldwide. If you are serious about building or maintaining your coaching business and care for being part of a well-respected, self-regulating profession, you will be interested in gaining an ICF Credential. There are three ICF Credentials: Associate Certified Coach (ACC) , Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and Master Certified Coach (MCC) . Each credential level has a minimum requirement of a specified number of coach-specific training hours, of coaching experience and of mentor coaching.
