‘I love the opportunity to be accredited by an independent body which qualifies coaches to the very highest standards. This means that clients truly know that coaches who meet the ICF’s quality measure really are up to the job. This will do much for the future of our profession and for me as a professional.’

Bill Ward Finance Director
I started my career as a Chartered Accountant, so the opportunity to be Treasurer means I can bring my financial background to the UK ICF. I am relatively new to coaching, drawn to it after more than 20 years in the technology industry helping people and teams adapt to change and new ways of working. This is a journey that has taken me to the Netherlands as well as the US for the past 12 years, returning to the UK last year. The opportunity to see life through other perspectives and from different cultural points of view has been a rich and rewarding experience.

I obtained a post graduate certificate in Evidence Based Coaching from the Fielding Graduate University in California and attained my ACC credential in early 2008. I am still on my career transition journey… trying to hold on to my dream and struggling with the roller coaster of doubts and excitements, the highs as well as lows that brings. If you are on a similar career transition, I would love to hear from you. The coaching community is a wonderful source of strength and support and I am delighted to play an active part in helping to develop our profession at this exciting time.
