Meet the UK ICF Board

The ICF in the UK is currently represented by a board of directors. Elections to the Board are held annually in April. The Board Members for 2007 are:

Neil Scotton ACC - President
Neil Scotton gets really enthusiastic whenever anyone talks about exceptional workplaces and exceptional working lives. He is an NLP practitioner and NLP trained coach. His background includes creating people-friendly continuous improvement cultures and providing consultancy to help organisations achieve ‘World Class’ levels of performance and service.
Claire Palmer ACC - Past President
Claire coaches executives and professionals to fully realise their potential both professionally and personally. She supervises coaches across Europe, runs coach training for Executive coaches and leads a large global coaching contract across Europe. She combines her business with an active family life. Claire is a graduate of Coach University, has a post-graduate Advanced Coaching diploma with the Academy of Executive Coaching & is working towards a Masters with Middlesex University. She is co-chair of the ICF Global Regulatory Task Force.
Halina Jaroszewska PCC - Director of Professional Devleopment
Halina creates a space of choice and magical discovery with her clients: inspiring, challenging and encouraging them to be who they truly are.
A co-active coach, she works with top executives to make a real difference in their world. This balances deliciously with her personal coaching practice where clients discover how to be the architects of their lives.
Halina brings her audacious sense of thinking to all of her coaching which encapsulated metaphorically is 'sugar pink rock star out on the high wire combined with hand made lemon ice cream'. Always practical and in the business of great results, she is passionate about the professional development of coaching.
Kathryn Pope - Board Secretary
Kathryn is the UK ICF Board Secretary. She has over 20 years experience in marketing, change management, team development, facilitation and leadership coaching in the corporate arena. She has a proven track record internationally of maximising the performance of teams and individuals. Kathryn combines leading-edge change technologies with her naturally infectious enthusiasm and highly developed interpersonal skills to bring about increased performance, fulfilment and a greater sense of balance in coaching clients.

She has been managing director of The Beechurst Consultancy since 1999, is an ICF credentialed coach, a trained NLP coach and an NLP master practitioner. She is a member of the BPS, Marketing Society, CIPD and the IOD.

Kathryn has been married to Sam for 14 years with 3 children of 9,7 & 5.

Chris Samsa PCC - Director of Brand Development
As a Director of Results Coaching Systems, Chris has over 750 hours of coaching professionals and individuals at CEO and senior management level for blue chip organisations in the UK and Internationally. As a trainer and facilitator over the last ten years he has been instrumental in training over 350 individuals in coaching skills both on open programmes and in the workplace.
As well as working with individuals and companies to help people focus on success and excelling in their lives, Chris can regularly be seen in the media. As a public speaker, Chris was recently addressing a group of Senior Managers from the Media industry which was also attended by some members of academia and received the following message;“Christopher Samsa has a unique ability to identify and understand the roadblocks that workers face in trying to accomplish the life and work goals that they have. He is eminently able to work with his clients to develop and implement practical solutions to overcome these roadblocks so that people can accomplish their goals and so experience a vital and meaningful life.” Professor Frank Bond, Professor of Work Psychology, University of London

John Blakey ACC - Director of Brand Development
John co-founded 121partners (www.121partners.com) and acts as coach to international business leaders. He was previously Director of Coaching and International Managing Director at LogicaCMG.

Kish Modasia ACC - Director of Membership
Kish’s corporate experience in excess of 20 years, plus her experience as a director for a chain of pharmacies has put her at the heart of business change. It enables her to facilitate and coach people throughout the business environment helping them to align their own personal vision to that of the business.
“Kish combines her knowledge of leadership, group facilitation, and parenting into a powerful mix as a coach. She brings a warm and open heart as well as wisdom to a client-centred approach. Kish continually seeks her growth and builds her wisdom. “
Kish is a great listener and has a passion for people. Both in work and the wider community she strives to work with people of different cultures to enable them to realise that each individual has so much to contribute and learn.
