UKICF 2011 Board – Call for Nominations 

Now that the 2011 UKICF President has been selected, we move onto the nominations process for the rest of the 2011 UKICF Board. By design, half the Board roles come up for election every year as Board members stand for 2 years and this ensures that there is continuity from one Board to the next. The 2011 UKICF Board roles that are already in place for 2011 are:

1. President: Deborah Price PCC

2. Past President: Kathryn Pope PCC

3. Treasurer: Debbie Rynda

4. Organisational Design Director: Hilary Oliver PCC

There are therefore a number of vacancies for the 2011 board, including the position of President-elect and up to 4 other Board roles.

Next week, each UKICF Chapter member will receive a personal invitation to apply for one of the board roles. In this email we will be outlining:

• More details of the UK strategy, priorities and plans

• The qualities and skills that we are seeking

• More information on what being a UKICF board member is like

Please take some time to consider whether you wish to apply for a role on the UKICF board. If you have:

• energy and passion to shape the future focus and activities of the UKICF

• the skills to increase the commercial focus and raise the profile of the organisation,

• an interest in developing your own influencing and leadership skills

• an appetite to fast track your own learning, networks and connections within ICF not only in the UK, but also in Europe and globally,

• the enthusiasm to work as part of a stimulating, challenging and engaging team of like-minded professionals,

• the creativity, pro-activity and capability to make things happen through your own energies and by harnessing the enthusiasm of others

• curiosity about what any of this could mean for you

This could be a great opportunity for you to explore something new and exciting to complement your own business and professional development in 2011.  So, please take some time to consider whether you wish to stand for one of these roles. 

2011 will be a busy year as usual for the UKICF, with the added focus on preparing ourselves for the arrival of the first ICF Global Conference outside of the US as we gear up to host the 2012 ICF Global Conference in London. With this in mind, we are keen welcome even more UKICF Chapter members onto the Board, and into UKICF ambassador roles. There are many amazing opportunities to connect, learn, lead, network, grow, inspire and develop both here in the UK, across the European Chapter community, and also with the global organisation, Board and Chapter communities worldwide.
