‘It’s important to me that I’m connected to (and accredited by) the most respected body in coaching worldwide. I have clients from all over the world and I believe it means something to them too. In addition, professionalising the profession is something all coaches should be committed to and this is one way of enacting that.’

invites you to explore

How much do you charge?

This Telediscussion is with John Niland, PCC on
Tuesday 6th February at 12:00 (UK Time)

Firstly, we would like to say thanks to the many people who responded with suggested topics for the Practice Development Forum.
Pricing and fee-setting easily topped the poll: even ahead of marketing and getting clients! So this is the subject of our first teleforum.

John Niland, PCC

John runs Success121 based both in Brussels and in London, he has managed the “Business-Building” track at the 2006 European ICF Conference. He specialises in working with independent professionals who want to take their practice to the next level; earning more fees in fewer hours. He currently coaches sixty clients, and has worked with over 350 people since March 2000.

This teleforum is in four parts:

  • a short illustration of two very different pricing conversations

  • the three most common pitfalls to avoid

  • how to structure the conversation as "Value > Budget > Fee"

  • discussion and sharing of experience
