‘It’s important to me that I’m connected to (and accredited by) the most respected body in coaching worldwide. I have clients from all over the world and I believe it means something to them too. In addition, professionalising the profession is something all coaches should be committed to and this is one way of enacting that.’

MEETING ETHICAL GUIDELINES AND PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS:
Creating the container for great coaching

This is a tele-seminar
with Pamela Richarde, MCC
on Monday 11th February 2008 at 8pm UK time

Ethics and recognizable standards are imperative to the success of coaching, individually as well as collectively for the profession as a whole. Come join Pamela Richarde, one of the initial creators of the core coaching competencies recognized by the ICF and explore what this competency means to you and how it can become a great container for your coaching.

Pamela Richarde, MCC

Dedicated to life-long learning, and passionate about delving into 'unknown' territories, Pamela's work over the years has taken her around the world, exploring culture, language, education, philosophy, spirituality and the arts. An educator for over 25 years, and a Trainer and Professional Coach for the last 15, she is also the former Chief Operations Officer and VP of Coach U, Inc. A cross section of Pamela’s formal studies includes a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from California Polytechnic University and a Masters degree from California State University Fullerton in Performing Arts.

An experienced executive, Pamela is also competent in developing curriculum, articulation standards and matriculation policies. One of her contributions in this area to the profession of coaching is her work with colleagues in the development of the standards, ethics, competencies and certification process exams for the International Coach Federation's (ICF) Credentialing and Accreditation process. Pamela is recognized as a Master Certified Coach by the ICF and serves as a Past President of that organization. Presently, she is working on a doctorate in Human and Organizational Systems with Fielding Graduate University.
