So why these two Core Competencies together in the same session? And why two presenters?
Two presenters is easy because they create a great team and stimulate great learning. And maybe more importantly they suggested that it would be more fun to do a Core Competency session together.
Active Listening and Creating Awareness? Peter Szabó after a moment to think then said this: 'What I like about both these Core Competencies is they are not simply what they may seem. Both have a technical side - the 'how to do it' where you scan through the questions that are more or less likely to create awareness and / or coaching presence.
Then you realise that both have this other shade which is the 'Je ne sais quoi' of active listening and creating awareness. It's hard to explain and it's pure magic when it happens.'
So how do they link together? How is it possible to get into the beyond, into the 'Je ne sais quoi' arena?
Join Peter and Alix on the 20th May at 7pm UK time and find out. The session will invite even demand your active involvement. It will be challenging, rewarding with homework to complete before the session.
The hour will be in 3 parts:
1. Sharing of the 3 moments that you believe are relevant to Active Listening and Creating Awareness that you have selected from the demo tape
2. Alix and Peter will come up with 5 ideas which will actively involve you in an exercise with these two Core Competencies
3. The creation of a collection of awareness creating questions which highlight active listening
This will certainly be a session that will stir up any preconceptions, any assumptions, that you have re these two Core Competencies. Come and explore what is the beyond and how it excites and inspires these two MCCs.
