‘I love the opportunity to be accredited by an independent body which qualifies coaches to the very highest standards. This means that clients truly know that coaches who meet the ICF’s quality measure really are up to the job. This will do much for the future of our profession and for me as a professional.’

DIRECT COMMUNICATION
- the critical component of coaching

This is a teleseminar
with Bobbi Gemma, MCC
on Tuesday 15 July 2008 at 8pm UK time

Communication is a critical component of coaching. Words, tone of voice, rate of speech, and intonation all serve to create a connection or disconnection. Our filter systems, styles, perspectives, training, etc can enhance or disrupt that connection. As coaches, we not only offer respectful, direct, clear communication to help our clients grow and shift, but we model those same skills for them. In our hour together we’ll look at messaging, advising, supporting, challenging and the use of metaphor, to allow our clients to gain clarity, alter perspective, become more focused and expand.

Bobbi Gemma, MCC

Bobbi’s background ranges from project management to outplacement counseling to corporate training. She is a Master Certified Coach and has been coaching professionally for more than 13 years, providing training and development and administering various assessments for over 20. While she has her own business, The Gemma Group, she is also an Associate with Pyramid Resource Group, the first recognised coaching company in the US. Her clients include: entrepreneurs/small business owners, corporate executives, women in leadership, new managers and women in middle stages of life.

This Teleseminar will give you 1 CCEU hour.
