What our UK members say:

'Professional standards are vital to the standing and credibility of Coaching as an emerging profession. The ICF is the only independent professional body with a track record of accrediting coaches to these rigorous standards and at a variety of levels. So I am proud to be designated a Master Coach by the ICF and consider it my responsibility to myself and my clients ( national and international, corporate and personal) to ensure that I continue to operate at that level......luckily the ICF makes sure I do that!'

GROWING INTO PCC:
your journey as a coach is an apprenticeship with life

This is a tele-discussion
with Sara Boas, MCC
on Thursday 17th July at 12 noon UK time

Your journey as a coach is an apprenticeship with life. At the start of this journey, as novices, we may wonder whether we are can make it as coaches, asking ourselves “Do I have what it takes to be a great coach?” The ACC credential answers this question with a reassuring “Yes!” As the apprenticeship continues, the coach asks new questions: “What will best support this person’s growth?” and “How can I adapt my coaching to this client, in this moment?” The growth from ACC to PCC is a step into your own power. Paradoxically, it is also a shift away from the focus on your own competence and towards a deeper engagement with the client and the process. Come ready to explore your coaching strengths, your learning needs, your hopes and your fears about growing into PCC. During this one-hour teleconference facilitated by Sara Boas, MCC, you will be invited to:
  • Identify your current strengths and learning needs in your growth as a coach

  • Apply your coaching skills to the planning of your own learning journey

  • Find resources within yourself that support successful practice and credentialing

  • Give and receive encouragement through sharing the journey with other coaches

  • Update your professional self-image and confidence

  • Commit to one or more specific action steps in your preparation for PCC
