At the start of this journey, as novices, we may wonder whether we are can make it as coaches, asking ourselves “Do I have what it takes to be a great coach?” The ACC credential answers this question with a reassuring “Yes!” As the apprenticeship continues, the coach asks new questions: “What will best support this person’s growth?” and “How can I adapt my coaching to this client, in this moment?” The growth from ACC to PCC is a step into your own power. Paradoxically, it is also a shift away from the focus on your own competence and towards a deeper engagement with the client and the process. Come ready to explore your coaching strengths, your learning needs, your hopes and your fears about growing into PCC.
