The Dilemma’s of an Internal Coach – Wellbeing

As coaching has developed, increasingly, businesses and organisations are choosing to build their internal coaching capacity.  The form it takes is diverse and comes in all shapes and sizes from fully fledged coaching faculties in large corporates to the HR manager wearing two hats and the owner-manager using a coach approach to lead his or her business. It seems that everywhere you look there is coaching; even that coaching is becoming synonymous with leadership and yet … where is the support?

If you are:

  • an internal coach juggling coachees with competing agenda’s;
  • a manager who uses a coaching style but needs to give the unadulterated facts;
  • an HR professional trying to maintain coaching confidentiality when you know more than what your coachee is sharing;

How do you hold the space and stay clean?  Who do you go to for help to process your thinking?  How truly open and vulnerable can you be with an internal supervisor? Where do you get support when you need to performance coach a colleague, knowing that he is likely to lose his job if he doesn’t shape up?

This first session of the Internal Coaching Special Interest Group is intended to provide a collaborative space for you to share your thoughts and experience with others and identify what you would like to have from the SIG in order to support you to navigate the white waters of the internal coaching space.

We will use the conversation to inform the future offering from the UK ICF Chapter and it would be great to hear your voice.



Cancellation Policy for Webinars

The UK ICF reserves the right to cancel a webinar due to low enrolment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If UKICF cancels a webinar, registrants will be offered a full refund. Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of a webinar, registrants will have the option to either receive a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at the new or an alternative webinar.

For webinar cancellation by participant the deadline to receive a refund for a webinar is 5 business days before the webinar. Registration cancellations received prior to the deadline may be eligible to receive a refund less a £5 service fee to cover our costs.

Cancellations received after the stated deadline will not be eligible for a refund. Refunds will not be available for registrants who choose not to attend an event.

Cancellations will be accepted via phone, or e-mail, and must be received by the stated cancellation deadline. All refund requests must be made by the attendee or credit card holder. Refund requests must include the name of the attendee and/or transaction number. Refunds will be credited back to the original credit card used for payment.

These above policies apply to all UK ICF Webinars unless otherwise noted in the corresponding webinar marketing information.
