In this session Jonathan will talk about his research and practice as a coach, exploring ethical dilemmas and how coaches can improve their ethical maturity by becoming more ethical aware and by adopting a more formal approach to ethical decision making. One of his most recent papers on ethics, in collaboration with Eve Turner, was recently highly commended by Coaching at Work. By the end of the session you will have a better understanding of your approach to ethics and have a framework to add to the ICF code to help you chart your way through future ethical dilemmas.

Your Speaker: Professor Jonathan Passmore
Prof Jonathan Passmore is a chartered psychologist, author and coach. He has engaged in coaching practice, researched written widely over the past 20 years on coaching, behavioural change and leadership – his latest book, Mastering Executive Coaching, is with Marshall Goldsmith and Brian Underhill. He leads coaching at Henley Business School, and is also a professor of psychology at the University of Evora, Portugal. Prior to his academic posts, he has worked in consulting for PWC, IBM and was MD for a medium size consulting company, Embrion, providing coaching and leadership services. Jonathan believes passionately research should be open access and you can access lots of his materials his Researchgate page.
Cancellation Policy for Webinars
The UK ICF reserves the right to cancel a webinar due to low enrolment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If UKICF cancels a webinar, registrants will be offered a full refund. Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of a webinar, registrants will have the option to either receive a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at the new or an alternative webinar.
For webinar cancellation by participant the deadline to receive a refund for a webinar is 5 business days before the webinar. Registration cancellations received prior to the deadline may be eligible to receive a refund less a £5 service fee to cover our costs.
Cancellations received after the stated deadline will not be eligible for a refund. Refunds will not be available for registrants who choose not to attend an event.
Cancellations will be accepted via phone, or e-mail, and must be received by the stated cancellation deadline. All refund requests must be made by the attendee or credit card holder. Refund requests must include the name of the attendee and/or transaction number. Refunds will be credited back to the original credit card used for payment.
