Join us for a confidential conversation about ethical dilemmas and our Code of Ethics. You will have the opportunity to consider some case studies and how the Code of Ethics addresses these. There will be an opportunity to discuss any live examples you have for consideration and we discuss a helpful framework to support our decision making when we are faced with tricky dilemmas.
If you hold an ICF Credential you will now be required to demonstrate completion of at least three (3) Continuing Coach Education (CCEU) units in the area of coaching ethics to be eligible for renewal of your ICF Credential.
This update to ICF Credential renewal requirements reflects the ongoing need for professional coach practitioners to maintain ethical competence and awareness. Ethical awareness is critical when navigating the coaching profession and ethical competence is imperative to appropriate and effective coaching practice.

Your Presenter: Janet Wilson PCC, UK ICF President
Janet is a Professional Certified Coach with the ICF having qualified as a coach in 2003. With experience of implementing lasting change in organisations across 3 continents, she uses her training in NLP and Group Analysis in the work she does in coaching and leadership development. Since 2007 Janet has been supporting coaches as a coach mentor, friend and supervisor. She was appointed to work on the Strategic Steering Group looking at Coach Supervision for professional coaching organisations across the UK in 2008.
After a successful career in marketing and business development in a private sector organisation in South Africa, Janet moved to live in the United Arab Emirates where she taught business. When she relocated to live in the UK at the beginning of 2004, she chose to combine her experience in business leadership and her passion for learning and change to support leaders in both private and public organisations. She has worked extensively in the NHS, coaching directors and senior leaders and has a particular interest in group coaching and Action Learning. She also works as an associate of the King’s Fund supporting leadership development in health and social care.
The power coaching has to support learning and change continues to intrigue Janet and she is passionate about supporting good practice, rigorous reflection and continuous development in the coaching profession.
Cancellation Policy for Webinars
The UK ICF reserves the right to cancel a webinar due to low enrolment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If UKICF cancels a webinar, registrants will be offered a full refund. Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of a webianr, registrants will have the option to either receive a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at the new or an alternative webinar.
For webinar cancellation by participant the deadline to receive a refund for a webinar is 5 business days before the webinar. Registration cancellations received prior to the deadline may be eligible to receive a refund less a £5 service fee to cover our costs.
Cancellations received after the stated deadline will not be eligible for a refund. Refunds will not be available for registrants who choose not to attend an event.
Cancellations will be accepted via phone, or e-mail, and must be received by the stated cancellation deadline. All refund requests must be made by the attendee or credit card holder. Refund requests must include the name of the attendee and/or transaction number. Refunds will be credited back to the original credit card used for payment.
