ICF UK North West Local Group
Established in 2018, the purpose of the ICF UK NorthWest Local Group is to provide a home to local coaches who are seeking expert development, support, opportunities for reflective practice, and a professional network.
Our membership is growing and we are keen to see both new and familiar faces at our meetings. Members include those newly qualified as well as established coaches; some are accredited, others are not; some are internal coaches, some life coaches, and others are business and executive coaches.
We meet in Manchester at a central location, usually on a Monday evening between 5 and 7 pm 5/6 times a year. Our aim is to ensure that everyone attending has an opportunity to contribute and feel connected.
To date we have been fortunate in attracting excellent speakers. Attendance at our meetings usually earns ICF Continuing Coach Education Units. The cost is £22.50 per meeting or a discounted £15 for members of ICF. Those attending describe the group as friendly, challenging and energising.
Our speakers during 2018 included Hilary Oliver, immediate Past Chair of ICF Global, Kim Morgan, Barefoot Coaching and author of ’The Coach’s Casebook’, Amy Brann author of ‘Make Your Brain Work’
& ‘Neuroscience for Coaches’
, Karen Dean, MCC, and our current UK ICF President Sarah Gornall.
