I began coaching professionally in 2003 mainly working as an internal coach until stepping full-time into my own practice in 2008. I work with aspiring leaders and first line managers through to board level directors, typically at points of personal transition, such as promotion and organisational change. I also enjoy supporting teams to enhance performance by developing a strengths-based collaborative approach. I am a CoachU Certified Graduate, NLP practitioner and Strengths Strategy Certified Coach using the Clifton StrengthsFinder 2.0 assessment. As a Coach Supervisor, I enjoy the creative, collegiate space of enquiry and critical reflection that this provides.
I love learning and my breadth of knowledge is supported by the extensive experience I have gained in the design and delivery of meaningful and accessible learning programmes in coaching and management & leadership. I am a member of the CIPD and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and have worked as both Associate Tutor and Visiting Lecturer at the University of Chester supporting high numbers of learners to achieve academic and professional qualifications including an experientially taught BA Honours programme in NLP as an Applied Psychology in Personal and Organisational Development, a Postgraduate Certificate in Coaching for Leadership as well as CMI level 3 and 5 qualifications in Leadership, Personal Development and Coaching in the Organisation.
